Major Course Content Section
Our training includes the use of diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as information on industry best practices and safety procedures. Some specific topics that will be covered include:
- Engine repair and maintenance: This section will cover topics such as engine diagnosis, engine rebuilding, engine performance, and engine tuning. It will also include information on routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug replacements.
- Transmission repair and maintenance: This section will cover topics such as transmission diagnosis, transmission rebuilding, and transmission performance. It will also include information on routine maintenance tasks such as fluid replacements and filter replacements.
- Electrical system diagnosis and repair: This section will cover topics such as electrical system diagnosis, wiring repairs, and electrical component testing and replacement. It will also include information on how to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Brake system diagnosis and repair: This section will cover topics such as brake system diagnosis, brake pad and rotor replacement, and brake system performance. It will also include information on how to use brake system diagnostic tools such as brake bleeders and brake caliper piston compressors.
- Steering and suspension diagnosis and repair: This section will cover topics such as steering and suspension diagnosis, ball joint replacement, and strut and shock absorber replacement. It will also include information on how to use suspension system diagnostic tools such as camber gauges and spring compressors.
- Climate control system diagnosis and repair: This section will cover topics such as climate control system diagnosis, compressor replacement, and evaporator and condenser replacement. It will also include information on how to use climate control system diagnostic tools such as vacuum pumps and refrigerant recovery and recycling equipment.
- Emissions system diagnosis and repair: This section will cover topics such as emissions system diagnosis, catalytic converter replacement, and oxygen sensor replacement. It will also include information on how to use emissions system diagnostic tools such as smoke machines and vacuum gauges.
- Fuel system diagnosis and repair: This section will cover topics such as fuel system diagnosis, fuel pump replacement, and fuel injector cleaning and replacement. It will also include information on how to use fuel system diagnostic tools such as fuel pressure gauges and vacuum gauges.
- Basic auto body repair and paint: This section will cover topics such as basic auto body repair, rust repair, and basic painting techniques. It will also include information on how to use basic auto body repair tools such as sanders and paint guns.
